Laura Harrison Ryan is a multi-instrumentalist teacher and performer. She is a recent Los Angelean by way of New York City, where she appeared at Webster Hall, Bowery Ballroom, Hiro Ballroom, 92nd Street Y Tribeca, Issue Project Room, the Stone, and at festivals such as Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Next Wave Festival, Suoni per il Popolo in Montreal, and WIRE magazine’s Adventures in Modern Music. She has several years experience teaching at organizations such as the Chestnut Hill School and Brandeis University in Boston, and the Bronxhouse School of Performing Arts and the Natalia Huang Piano Studio in New York City. She holds a Master of Music from Boston University and a Bachelor of Music from Butler University, and is the lucky mother of an amazing 3 year old boy.
