At HMA, my children are not only learning music, but are also learning the discipline of practicing everyday, and the patience that comes with improving over time. The music education that HMA offers has allowed our daughters to grow in ways they didn’t know possible; it stimulates their creative genius and allows them to think, act, and communicate with greater ability and refinement. My children will always appreciate this aspect of their education because it has and will produce something in them that they will certainly take into adulthood.

It is just amazing how music lessons at HMA are brightening my teenage daughter’s life. My daughter has been taking private violin lessons for just over a year, and she loves it. It gives her joy, comfort and a challenge which she needs. Her violin playing has been dramatically improved and now she is practicing a new piece which we couldn’t even imagine her playing a year ago. She adores her “cool” violin teacher who inspires, motivates, and teaches her with love and passion. I am truly delighted with what HMA is offering. They have the most professional and talented teachers. They also have nice, friendly office staff who are very helpful, too!

HORIPRO Music Academy opens up a world of opportunity for every young student. I’ve seen my students grow as dancers and as young people. Our staff helps every student develop, not just in the classroom but in their life, too. My teaching comes from my passion to see young students blossom. In my own dance classes, we teach in a structured way that gives children an understanding of dance fundamentals they will use forever. Every child has a chance to be great — our teachers it’s up to the HORIPRO Music Academy to help them get there.

The Variety of classes at HMA is great. They have something different to offer every age group. Both of my kids started out with BMK and it made an easy transition for them into private lessons. We are lucky to have had our kids exposed to learning music when they were young in a fun way that motivated them and makes them excited to learn and keep coming back.

I absolutely highly recommend HMA. Compared with other places my son makes progress quickly. He started group classes at a very early age and was actually taught to read music before he could read. I don’t know how they did it! His current teacher (Hiroshi) is also wonderful, he keeps lessons fun. Although he is a very accomplished musician he relates so well to the kids. I will travel out of my way to come to this school, beautiful job!

I found that because of the fun activities and engaging teachers, she has been able to excel in the beginning group music class and is listening more to her teachers in school as well. She will even do homework without hesitation. She loves her music teacher, and I love her positive reaction to learning. She has enjoyed taking music class very very much!

It’s been 2 years since my daughter started the beginning music group class when she was 3 years old, I have seen many improvements in her music knowledge and academic aptitude since that time. Not only has she been enjoying learning music, she started ballet class and has been having fun learning the movements and I think it really improves her sense of timing musically. She loves wearing her pretty leotard and wants to dance all the time!
